With 1,000 guests in attendance at Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding, it’s hard to keep track of ALL the guests. But we did happen to notice that one familiar face was not there!
Cousin Amy Duggar was noticeably absent from the nuptials. Was it a fight between the devout Christian family and sinful Amy Duggar (who has previously admitted she didn’t remain a virgin until marriage)?
Plus the outspoken Amy also spoke about her disgraced cousin Josh in not one, but TWO interviews with PEOPLE magazine! She was the first to speak about Josh since he entered rehab, saying that he needed “as much help as possible.”
And perhaps most crazy of all, Amy and her husband Dillon King use BIRTH CONTROL. Though she is a Christian, this decision between Amy and her husband could not be more different than the rest of the Duggar clan.
But surprisingly, the large Duggar family found it in their 19 plus hearts to forgive Amy for her wayward thinking. Amy explained why she was partying it up in Vegas instead of attending the Vuolo wedding this past weekend.
Yeah, that’s right! One of the Duggar girls was living wild and free in Vegas! Amy told ET that her husband Dillon was part of the 2017 SEMA Show, a specialty car and auto parts trade show. Dillon owns a hydrographics company called Wet Ink Design.
Amy squashed rumors that she and her family weren’t getting along, or even that she hadn’t been invited. “I was absolutely invited. I love my family! There is no riff between me and my cousins at all. It was just wrong timing. We already had something scheduled.”
That ‘something,’ of course, was the SEMA Show. “It was Dillon’s dream to be a part of it and his truck was being sponsored! This was planned a year in advance, so there was no way I could let my husband go without me.”
Oh yeah…Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding was rather short notice. They only just got engaged in late July, and their wedding took place just a little over three months later!
The scandalous Duggar also knows there will be PLENTY more weddings to come. “I let my family know I loved them and that I couldn’t make it. I hated to miss it but I know there will be many more and that I will get to celebrate with her when we get back!”
Despite being 8 years older, Amy has always been particularly close with Jinger. And she was at least able to attend Jinger’s barnyard bridal party.
