84-year-old Debbie Reynolds is now in the hospital after suffering a possible stroke just after 1pm on Wednesday. This scary news is especially frightening because Debbie Reynolds had just lost one of her daughters, Carrie Fisher.
Fisher suffered a heart attack last Friday while aboard an 11-hour flight from London to Los Angeles. After a few days in the hospital, Fisher died on Wednesday.
Reynolds shared this message on Facebook, “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop.”
On Wednesday, Reynolds was at her son Todd Fisher’s house in Beverly Hills. TMZ reports that they were discussing funeral arrangements for Carrie.
Someone in the home called 911 for Debbie after she suffered a possible stroke. She was rushed to a nearby emergency room.
Debbie has unsurprisingly been distraught since Carrie’s heart attack on Friday.
