Did you know that the fruit flesh we eat is considered the sex organ of that plant? That’s why the seeds are usually inside the fruit flesh!

One artist has tapped into that fruit/sex crossover and has gone VIRAL for her work!

Stephanie Sarley is an Oakland based artist who has gained ever increasing popularity thanks to her arousing videos…

Like famous painter and photographer Georgia O’Keeffe, Sarley helps the viewer take an ordinary item into the erotic world. Her Instagram account is FILLED with videos of her long fingers and…fruit. Lemons (one of her favorites!), cantaloupes, kiwis; you name it, she’s done it! With her fingers of course.

Sarley spoke with The Daily Dot about her art and her fame and censorship.

Her Instagram account has been taken down THREE times, and her work is repeatedly infringed upon, something that makes her “feel washed out.”

Despite her exhaustive efforts to take down copyright infringers, Sarley never takes it out on the fruit.

She keeps her fruit in a bowl in the shade and checks on it daily. And if that ain’t love, I don’t know what is!

Sarley doesn’t take her art too seriously, saying, “Titillation is fun, and sexualization of fruit is great, and that makes me really happy.”

Sarley even eats the fruit after her artwork is finish, as long as it’s fresh of course.

Even the ones with milk in it— she just washes it out and cuts it up! (I’ll let you figure out what the milk is for.)

Her other artwork includes a series called Orcunts and Crotch Monsters. They’re available at her website stephaniesarley.com. They feature spread-eagle legs, with either a flower or a little face in the middle.

Those who have seen Sarley’s work on Instagram either love it or hate it, but either way they all comment on her viral videos.

Some have called her work “educational,” which certainly serves her purpose of creating “a compelling video that meant something to people.”

Sarley considers herself “part of a collective consciousness, a community of women artists all trying to communicate the same thing.”

She loves to encourage all young artists, telling them art is “your interpretation of how you feel about the world.” And this particular artist feels like feeling up some fine fruits!
